Free 3rd Grade Homeschool Curriculum (36-Week Plan)

This free 3rd grade homeschool curriculum is built around 36 weekly themes that make learning fun, organized, and easy to follow.

Instead of doing the same type of work every day, each week brings a new theme. This keeps things feeling fresh and makes learning more enjoyable for kids, especially those who don’t do well with repetitive work.

For parents, it’s designed to be easy to use. You can print and go for spelling and math without needing a lot of prep. Everything is free, with only the cost of printing.

The themes naturally open the door for real-life learning too. You can build around each theme with hands-on activities, outings, or simple ideas that don’t require screens or extra materials.

The curriculum is being built carefully over time, starting with spelling and math.

The spelling worksheets are complete, and I’m uploading them as fast as I can. It’s a bit of a process!

Before they’re published, every worksheet goes through a thorough final review, where I carefully check every page and make additional improvements. Then I create the answer keys, finalize the PDF, create the website images, and write the post. It takes time, but I want to make sure every resource is as accurate and polished as possible before I share it.

The math worksheets are currently being developed with a teacher to ensure they follow a clear progression and cover key skills.

This is still a work in progress, but the goal is to create a complete, easy-to-use 3rd grade plan that you can follow or adapt however you’d like.
