  • cardstock or paper
  • crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  • a pen or pencil
  • scissors

How to Make These Pet Themed Cards

The dog and cat friendship cards are easy to make! Just follow these 6 simple steps:

Step 1 – Download the PDF

Scroll down to grab your free printable.

Step 2 – Print the Cards

You can use cardstock for sturdier cards or regular printer paper if you prefer.

Step 3 – Color

Kids can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to bring the cute pet illustrations to life.

Step 4 – Cut the Cards Out

Carefully trim along the edges using scissors. Parents might need to help younger children with this step.

Step 5 – Fill in the To / From Section

Some cards will have to and from sections, and the others will have an XOXO message. Kids can personalize each card by adding their name and, when needed, the recipient’s name.

Step 6 – Share with friends!

Hand them out at school, playdates, or just because!
