Uppercase Letter I is for Ink Craft
This uppercase letter I craft is fun and simple craft for preschoolers.
Step-by-Step Instructions
In only 3 easy steps, your little one can transform a simple capital I into a fun ink-themed art project.
Step 1 – Color
Kids can color the uppercase letter I and the ink splats using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

They might enjoy using bold colors like black, purple, or blue to look like real ink!
Step 2 – Cut
With safety scissors, cut out the large letter I and the three ink splats.

Grown-ups can help younger children with the more detailed edges of the splats.
Step 3 – Glue
Paste the letter I onto a sheet of construction paper.
Kids should try their best to glue it in the centre of the page if they’re only doing the uppercase I. If they will be making the lowercase i as well, they need to paste the uppercase I more to the left of the page, to allow room for the ice cream craft on the right.

Then arrange and glue the ink splats on the letter to complete the design.

Step-by-Step Instructions
In just 3 easy steps, kids will transform the letter i into a cheerful ice cream cone, complete with 3 scoops and a cherry on top.
Step 1 – Color
Have kids color the letter i cone, ice cream scoops, and cherry.

They can choose classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, or get creative with rainbow scoops!
Step 2 – Cut
Carefully cut out the lowercase i, three ice cream scoops, and the cherry.

This is great practice for preschoolers and kindergartners working on scissor skills.
Step 3 – Glue
Start by arranging the pieces of the ice cream craft onto a sheet of construction paper. Start with the cone and stack the scoops on top, and finish it with the cherry as the dot of the i. Make sure everything fits properly on the page.
Once the position of each piece has been determined, glue the cone-shaped lowercase ‘i’ in the center of the page at its proper position.
Replace the 3 scoops and cherry on the page. Then glue the cherry into position.

Now, one at a time, glue each scoop into place.
