Skill Level
This is an easy winter word search for kids.
It was created with 1st graders in mind, but could also be fun for early elementary students and young ESL learners. Beginner readers would also benefit, as there is a picture for each word.
There are 12 hidden winter words to find and circle in a 12 X 14 grid of uppercase (or lowercase) large print letters. Use the lowercase version to slightly increase the difficulty level.
The words are between 4 and 10 letters long.
Since it’s a 1st grade word search, all the words can be found horizontally (from left to right) or vertically (from top to bottom). There are no diagonal, backwards, or upside-down words.
